The Ministry of Territorial Administration (MINAT) welcomed the National Firefighters Brigade on October 13th, 2023, for an informative exercise on improving security in public buildings. The demonstration was part of the activities organized to celebrate the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction (IDDRR), which focused on the theme of « Reducing Natural Disasters: Adhering to Construction and Urban Planning Standards. » The event was attended by MINAT’s Secretary General, Yves Christian EDOA EFFA, directors and personnel. During the exercise, the firefighters showcased their expertise in responding to fire emergencies in public buildings. They explained to the audience the necessary precautions and actions to be taken during a fire incident. The firefighters also answered questions from the public, which clarified their activities and responsiblities.
